It was a very busy weekend for showings, I had 3 clients on Saturday, the first client looked at condos in town and at the hill, most of the units were booked so I could only get into 308 Glacier Lodge and I think this is more what he is looking for.


The second couple looked at houses in town between $230,000 - $400,000, 7 homes in total.


The third client was interested in Trailers and looked at #10 GMHP and #38 Reflection Lake MHP


Once again a busy weekend for skiers at the hill, could not get in to show till Sunday when all these units were empty Mountaineer 103, 303, 309, Glacier 401. The Aspens were also shown.


I have received 2 offers on WP #9 and negotiations are underway.


Aspens #56 is now SOLD and will close at the end of March giving the new owners a couple of weekends to use the unit.

With more showings booked for the week ahead the market is definitely seeing an increase in activity and Team Chambers is much busier then this time last year.

Still lots of showings of the 2 bedroom condo's at Kicking Horse and we now have an accepted offer on 411 Mountaineer, if this completes it will make it the 5th Condo to sell in just over a month, Team Chambers being involved in 3 of the sales.

This is my clients first time out looking and they are going back to Calgary to think about the options


I showed 615 Lapp Road yesterday and my clients and have entered into negotiations with the Seller, we will see if we can get together.


New Listing this week is:

Lots of showings still happening at the ski hill looks like the sale of Kicking Horse to RCR has created lots of interest and few offers most of the showings are 2 bedroom condo's and the 2 bed Aspens.


We now have an accepted offer on #56 Aspens






We could not get together on #44 Aspens top floor unit and it is back on the market.

With almost 20 cm in the last week the ski hill has seen OVER 16 FEET OF SNOW so far this season!!!  Temperatures are now sitting at -20c here in Golden.


I was out showing properties on Sunday the first group of people looked at a home on an acreage and will look at more in 2 weeks, I showed trailers in the afternoon and then went up to the ski hill to show the Aspens.   Showings are starting to pick up in town as well but still more showings at the hill and even some offers:

#9 Whispering Pines - we could not get together
#44 Aspens - still getting the final signatures
#56 Aspens - still going back and forth but it does look promising, both the Aspens are set to close at the end of March


We have also seen more enquiries on 2 bedroom condos and showings and also enquiries on the only 3 bedroom condo we have left which is 401 Glacier


735 Nicholson frontage was shown and this weekend looks busy with more showings already planned

There have been more showings at the ski hill again this weekend, Aspens, 2 & 3 bed condos a few times.  Seems like 411 Mountaineer still getting top reviews of all the showings.


We are also now getting interest on a few properties in town properties but no showings, however, I think things will be picking up over the next month.


There were a few people through the open house at 1668 Dogtooth on Saturday.

I have not had to shovel my driveway this year in town but mid Mountain at Kicking Horse has had close to 15 feet of snow!

The new Year started off with a flurry of activity, Aspens #44 has been shown twice, with an offer coming forward yet to be accepted.  411 Mountaineer and 310 Palliser were shown, 411 has been shown a few times recently and seems to be the most preferred 2 bed unit in the Mountaineer. 

The Open house at 1668 Dogtooth went well there were a few people through showing some interest. There is another Open house this Saturday 7th January from 3-7pm.  We have had enquiries on other properties but it has been difficult to show them as the resort has been very busy over the holiday season, now that things are slowing down we will be able to show again.


We showed 904 13th and 507 6th Street and an offer came in on 507, however we could not get together on a price.

2458 Kettleston Road was also shown.
