Temperatures at -24c here in Golden very brisk !



Showings recently include Holmes Deakin Road Lot, Barber Road, Lot #1 & #2 Golden Donald upper road also #96 KHMHP was shown.



At the Ski Hill, Whispering Pines #7 was shown twice and #16 showed was shown 3 times (to the same person) and an offer was put in but was not accepted

I also recently showed the following properties 1615 Purcell Woods 1627 Purcell woods, Selkirk #7 & #11, WP #7, WP #11, WP #16 being their favourite layout of the 3 Whipsering Pines, I will be showing these clients in town properties next week they will then decided if they want to be at the ski hill or in town.

Showings included lots this weekend out in the Blaeberry and Holmes Deakin Road, Lots 1 and 2 Upper Golden Donald, Lot #4 Black Bear Drive and Lot #1 Mitchell Road, we walked into the first lot but with waist deep snow we decided not to do that again !! #54 Aspens at KHMR was also shown.

Yesterday I showed 1525 Fir Crescent, 965 Oster Road, 1405 Granite Drive and 527 12th Street.

Getting out Skiing lots, this is the best snow to be had for a long time at Kicking Horse - Wednesday was especially good, very quiet at the mountain so having the whole terrain virtually to ourselves was awesome.

The Snow has finally let up some, 4 hours of Skiing Awesome, 4 hours of shoveling driveway not so Awesome. We have received 15cm in the past 12 hrs, 32 in the past 24 and 61 in last 48. Golden has not see this much snow in 40 years, and as you can see in this picture of me shoveling snow (40 years ago!!) we had over 6ft snow banks.

Now back to the Real Estate....

SOLD we have a firm and binding contract on 1596 Golden Ave. this will be the second house Team Chambers has sold at the ski hill this season. We are hoping that the record breaking snow fall brings more buyers to the market.

I have shown a few trailers this week and trailers with land but the only other showings are at the Mountain!!

There was an offer put in on 1669 Dogtooth Trail that included a 3 bedroom condo trade but was not accepted.

There are big flakes of snow falling in Golden and more to come! it was -21c at the top of the Mountain recently so a bit chilly but a beautiful bluebird ski day as you can see from these pictures !

No.7 Whispering Pines was shown 3 times this weekend - we hope to see something come from this in the near future. I also tried to show condos but they were all booked due to new snow and it looks like they are going to be booked solid for the next couple of weeks if we get the predicted 60cm at the resort. #96 1040 10th Avenue was also shown.

#54 Aspens has been reduced to $379,500 and we have 1 new listing this week which is 1201 10th Avenue, a beautiful 1900's heritage home centrally located and with scope for development, this is listed at $319,900, check out the link below.

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILIES
The snow is coming down in Golden, not as much as first forecast but still 25cm + at the hill which makes for some good skiing and the dogs of course love it.

Showings are starting to pick up:

This weekend we are seeing a few people coming out to look at Condo's and Town Homes.
