It is official Kicking Horse Mountain Resort now joins Resorts of the Canadian Rockies Inc.

This has created a lot of positive energy at the ski hill with talk of a new Hotel and new lifts, we will know more in the new year with announcements from KHMR/RCR

Team Chambers enjoyed a wonderful hike up to Gorman Lake last weekend, even the rain did not spoil our family day out - the fall colours are beautiful and we had lots of fun, Esmay loved all the inukshuks on the trail.

HST has been voted out!!! but from what I read it will take 18 months before it is removed so HST is still here for another 18 months!!  we will keep everyone updated on progress with this.

We did not get together with the offer on 811 Barber road, also 1113 11th Street is back on the Market, So we are getting a few offers but we are not getting to the end zone.  Things are quiet at the moment, which is generally what happens at this time of year with holidays coming to a close and the new school year starting.   We hope to see some more activity mid September.

News from the Ski hill is that rentals are up, after talking to BelStar, they are saying that July 2011 has had as many rentals as July 2009 & July 2010 combined and they are running around 40% occupancy and up to 80% occupancy on weekends.  Good news !!
