New Listing this week is 849 Crandall Road for $624,900 - a stunningly elegant property sitting on 2 acres of private, treed land. There is a price reduction on Unit 204 in the Glacier, this was $369,000 and is now $330,000. A few offers coming in on properties through our office including a ski hill lot, so things are moving along again. Recent showings include 805 10th Street and 1113 11th Street South.

Another week has passed and unfortunately 1621 PW deal did not complete due to financing, it seems that trying to finance a purchase from abroad is a difficult process. I am going to get together with a local mortgage broker and put together a document to explain the steps that need to be taken and the percentages/monies required and I will have this available on my website.
There is an offer on another ski hill home which looks promising.
902 12th is SOLD and the office is busy, between listings and a few other offers, things are picking up.
New listings include 160 beautiful acres on Forde Station Road, a 6.5 acre lot with Foundation in place on Flemstrom Road, Two 1 acre lots on Golden Donald Upper Road and a lovely 4 bed family home on McMurdo Road. There is a Realtor Open House tomorrow at the McMurdo property and there are showings at 1113 11th Street and 1311 Selkirk Drive, I am also listing another home in the afternoon, details to follow.

So the 2008/09 ski season is over, we did not get up to the hill for the last day as I was busy with showings and writing up an offer. The last few weeks have been busy and I have 7 offers on the table and interest has picked up substantially. The showings at the ski hill went well but I was informed by the other Realtor that his clients are deciding which location they prefer, they also have looked in Panorama and Fernie. Hope everybody enjoyed their Easter Weekend with their families, I did find time to set up the trampoline for the kids this weekend - see picture.

Just received my 2008 Centurion Producer Oscar !! for my performance during that year, I also made the top 100 list of Realtors in Canada, so a big thanks to all my clients, both sellers and buyers for working with myself and Team Chambers. We hope to carry this forward in our future business.

Just wanted everyone to know (and rub it in!) that I did find time today to get up and make 2 runs in the spring snow, white wall was good. The snow at the hill is melting very fast but considering the low snow year it is holding out well and should last till Sunday when the ski hill closes. After skiing I did run around the mountain straightening all my signs, as the snow melts they collapse.
Been busy over the last week with an accepted offer on 409 palliser, 902 12th and 896 Ryter Road West and a offer on another property 905 14th that was accepted. It seems there is some movement at the hill and in the town of Golden.
I will be showing homes (Easter Friday) from 11:30 till 1:30 none of my listings and on Saturday there will be showings at the ski hill of the Whispering Pines unit #7 , Palliser 107 (a new listing of mine) , Glacier lodge 404 & 410, as well as 1621 Purcell Woods...we will see how it goes.

April 2nd, 2009

Lets start the month of April off with some good news, the offer on 1621 Purcell Woods has been accepted.
There is also an offer in on #409 Palliser which also looks like it is going to be accepted.

There are lots of showings around town, I showed 5 listings on Wednesday evening including 2017 McMurdo Road, my clients are evaluating what I have shown them. Other listings that have been shown this week are 902 12th both Thursday and Friday and Ryter Road was shown this evening, I should receive feedback tomorrow.

I have just listed a nice family home 1311 Selkirk Drive for $489,900.
I will be up at the Ski Hill on Saturday evening showing 1621, 1611, 1615 Purcell Woods, Whispering Pines #'s 7 and 16, Glacier 404 and 410 and #25 Aspens and also Single Family Lots.

Heres hoping the decisions made at the G20 summit in London have a positive effect, initial early reports in the London Times Newspaper suggest boosted confidence and the stock markets reflect this http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/politics/G20/article6025542.ece
